Introduction
Delayed Echoes was created in March 2007 in Montreal. Music has always been part of my life. I started playing piano when I was 10 and sang in a choir for 12 years. I also played saxophone, clarinet and percussions. I started experimenting with synthesizers in the late 80's but the technology back then was not friendly enough. I got back to composing in the Summer of 2006, using modern softwares. After some experiments, the Delayed Echoes project was created.
Delayed Echoes is hard to categorize in today's music industry standards. It's a personal exploration of music, sounds and other media. There's already a huge difference between the first album and the second one which is not completed yet and it won't stop there. Each album will most probably be very distinct from the others. Single tracks, impossible to place in an album may also be released on their own at some point. In clear, there's no definite direction to this project and it will go wherever it wants to.
Some people ask me why a band name if I'm the only one working on the project. Well, there are other notorious examples and also, I may get some people involved at some point for specific projects. I figured a band name would get me covered for the future.
